Our Tazer opens up a whole new world and style of riding, one where the ups are almost as much fun as the downs. What once might have been a boring slog or just a 'means to an end' can now be either a super technical challenge or just a quick spin to get you to the top and all the fun bits again. Our Expert build features the classic Shimano STEPS E7000 while our Pro model features the all-new EP8, both of which give you seamless pedal to power transition, especially when teamed up with the rear 27.5+ tire and its larger contact area.
The beauty of the Tazer is that all of the weight is carried low down in the middle of the bike—what this means is that the center of gravity is lower, making the bike turn and grip amazingly. The position of the weight also gives the bike a solid and planted feel; it's stable and precise and carries speed like nothing on earth. Add to that a geometry that puts you in a natural position and you get perfect weight distribution to the front and rear wheels.
You will eat up laps at your local trail loops, maximizing your time on your bike. You can do three or four times the amount of riding you would normally do on a non-eBike, maximizing your skills on the descents. In the early 90’s, when Founder Jeff Steber first rode an MTB, he immediately had dozens of ideas about changes and tweaks he could make on the bike to improve its performance and appearance. Eventually, after making so many changes, he decided to make a bike from the ground-up, and Intense was born.
Not unlike that experience, Jeff has taken what he’s learned from riding E-bikes and applied his own tweaks and innovations. His goal was to make an E-bike that didn’t feel cumbersome, had a seamless pedal-to-power transition and delivered a true mountain bike experience.
The Expert Build Tazer offers the same great frame platform as our Pro Build and comes with a Shimano E7000 Motor and Fox Performance suspension.

Intense's Spider 29C Pro Build casts its web all over the mountain with big 29er wheels and adjustable travel for all conditions. Intense's monocoque uni-directional carbon frame features 115-130mm JS Tuned rear suspension and a Fox Performance Elite Float shock that ensures exceptional pedaling on the way up and total control on the way down. The Fox Performance Elite 34 fork gives you a balanced feel all over the trail with plush travel. Quick, nimble, and able to steamroll rocks and roots, the 29-inch DT Swiss wheels get up to speed and stay there, while Maxxis Ardent tires stick in corners and dig in on the climbs. It's just as ready for the race course as it is for the Sunday shredfest thanks to a slick-shifting SRAM X01/X1 drivetrain that gives you the right gear for the climbs and the sprint to the finish line. That last little bit of awesome comes courtesy of the Kind Shock LEV dropper that gets you in the best position for the steeps, and SRAM Guide RS disc brakes that reel in the crazy speed you've managed. Ensnare all the gnar you can manage with the Spider.
