About this bike
The SCOTT Scale 970 comes fully equipped with a RockShox 30 Silver TK fork, along with Remote Lockout technology to allow for multiple travel settings to adjust to riding conditions. Internal cable routing in the durable aluminum frame makes for a cleaner look, and a tapered headtube stiffens the front end for more predictable handling. Shimano SLX drivetrain components provide accurate shifting and offer a wide gear range with the 2 x 10 setup. The Shimano MT201 hydraulic disc brakes put speed control at the rider's fingertips and offer powerful braking even in wet conditions. The 29er wheels with Syncros rims carry their speed, roll easily over obstacles, and have a large contact patch for increased traction. They're rolled up in Maxxis Rekon Race tires, with just the right amount of tread for a variety of terrain.
