Ride more, further, faster. The Rocky Mountain Altitude Powerplay brings cutting-edge power to an aggressive trail bike and opens the door to inspiring terrain for all. Introducing a fully integrated, electric-assist mountain bike that takes the Altitude’s legendary handling and ride quality and adds a compact, powerful drive system. The new Powerplay drive system was designed in parallel with the frame, delivering ultra-short chainstays, optimized suspension kinematics, a super-low center of gravity, and class-leading torque. The result is an e-MTB that actually rides like a proper mountain bike—perfect for everything from self-shuttling all mountain trails, finding flow between the descents, and squeezing in power lunch rides. The Carbon 50 build soaks up heavy terrain with a RockShox Yari RC fork and Deluxe RT shock, while Race Face AR 35 rims and Maxxis WT tires dig into that terrain with tenacious grip and strength. Shimano’s SLX/XT shifter and derailleur team up with a Race Face Crank to blend your strength and that of the Powerplay assist system, taking you further with precise shifting and a considerable gear range. And, 4-piston Shimano hydraulic brakes with 203mm rotors easily handle the big descents you’re going to start racking up with the Altitude Powerplay. Just as trail-ready as the other Altitude models, the Powerplay Carbon 50 includes a Race Face dropper post and burly Rocky Mountain cockpit hardware to complete this bike’s all-mountain capabilities.
