About this bike
You'll feel the wind at 30mph on BMC's Timemachine TMR01, but the aerodynamic frame won't. Every part of the bike is optimized to limit drag: from the 3:1 length-to-width ratio of the frame tubing that slips through the air, to the truncated teardrop shape of the tubing that shunts turbulence away from the frame, to the integrated linear-pull brakes that are hidden from the wind. Thanks to the massive bottom bracket, each watt of pedal power turns into forward motion. Shimano's top-of-the-line, electronic Dura-Ace Di2 gruppo shifts flawlessly, and wind-cheating Easton EC90 Aero tubular wheels spin up quickly to give you extra speed. An Easton carbon bar and aluminum stem round out the parts package on this incredible racer.
