About this bike
Trek hit up renowned illustrator Hydro74 to create a Spartacus-themed Madone 6.9 SSL for Swiss superstar, Fabian Cancellara. Handmade from their best OCLV carbon, the frame is brutally efficient and amazingly light. Connecting the gorgeous frame to the fork is an E2 tapered head tube for scalpel-like steering. Flowing down, the down tube joins with an insanely stout 90mm-wide BB. This gives you the stiffest possible platform to launch attacks. Perhaps the most ingenious piece on this bike is the integrated seatmast that reduces weight and smooths the road underneath you for sublime comfort. The frame is spec'd for the Tour with top-of-the-line Bontrager Aeolus 5.0 carbon wheels, a full Dura-Ace Di2 gruppo and Race XXX Lite stem and carbon bars that add the finishing touches of class.
