Band Wagon

Band Wagon

If fixies are your thing, you gotta love Kona's Band Wagon. Ironic name aside, this is one serious urban machine. The frame? Butted chromoly, of course. The fork? Kona's beautiful Project Two. The wheels? Stealthy black deep-dish, what else? And have you taken a close look at the stunt-ready bars and stem? The geometry is somewhere between true track and relaxed road, for the best of both worlds. FSA track cranks and Shimano brakes top off the specs. Oh, and if riding fixed isn't your thing, the rear hub is a flip-flop, so you can run it singlespeed with a freewheel.

Paddy Wagon

Paddy Wagon

Sometimes gears are overrated. Check out Kona's Paddy Wagon, for instance. It's a fixie born for the streets and made for downtown traditionalists. Its chromoly frame is snappy, smooth and light, while the strong Kona fork makes this Paddy Wagon corner like a dream. The wheels are stiff, 30mm deep and painted to match. So they ride great and look good doing it. Plus, the flip-flop rear wheel comes with both a fixed 16-tooth cog and freewheel. And, the front and rear Tektro brakes keep you safe when you're braving the urban landscape.

Grand Wagon

Grand Wagon

Whether you're hitting the steep banks of your local velodrome or threading the needle through traffic, Kona's Grand Wagon will propel you at unheard-of speeds with enviable style. The beautiful Dedacciai lugged chromoly frame and straight-blade fork have that old-school flair we love so much, but it's the ride that really sets it apart. Smooth and snappy with a geometry that is fast, but never twitchy. The wheels are world-class, too. Mavic's Track Ellipses add to both the awesome ride and the killer look of the Grand. The rest of the specs are a good mix of track-worthy gear and street-tough hardware like the Sugino cranks, Kona bar, leather Selle Italia saddle and Shimano brakes. Almost too pretty to ride. Almost.
