Overview
About this bike
In Eeklo, Belgium, Eddy Merckx competed in his first cyclocross race, an event that also marked the first victory of his 'cross career. It attests to Merckx' multiple talents as a racer, his character, and his determination to win any competition he took part in. The Eeklo 70 is constructed from an aluminum frame and carbon fork and features optimized geometry for the grueling 'cross courses of Belgium—with extra mud clearance for even the most epic days. SRAM's Rival 1 1 x 11-speed drivetrain ensures positive shifting as you battle through grit and grime, and a plush Prologo saddle and lightweight aluminum Deda cockpit round out the build on this vessel through which you can channel the bulldog determination of the greatest cycling victor of all time.
