Overview
About this bike
If your idea of a great day on the bike involves frozen ground, a bit of snow, and a lot of mud, throw a leg over Focus' Mares AX 2.0 and dive in to the cold weather fun. The triple-butted aluminum frame is light so run-ups seem effortless, and it's stiff for stellar cornering and climbing. Speaking of stellar cornering, Fulcrum wheels dive into corners and cut through sand and mud so you stay speedy throughout the entire course. A Shimano Ultegra drivetrain provides the push with a wide range of gears and smooth shifts no matter how sticky the muddy course gets, and when you need to slow it down as you approach the barriers, Avid's Shorty 4 brakes modulate reliably every time. Top it off with rugged Concept components and you've got a race ripper that thrives in the muck.
