Kona's Jake the Snake CR serves up Jake's legendary 'cross performance with a generous helping of carbon fiber goodness. The feathery carbon frame floats over the rough stuff and hammers the straightaways, while a tapered full-carbon fork takes the sting out of the course and tracks deftly through the ruts. Sturdy Alex wheels make light work of and muddy 'cross courses in the fall and gravel roads the rest of the year. Supple, grippy Clement tires are ready for any terrain. The smooth-shifting FSA Gossamer/Shimano 105 drivetrain means you'll keep moving no matter how muddy the course may get, and powerful Hayes disc brakes let you control speed regardless of weather conditions.
