When Marin saw that people were using their tough cyclocross bikes as commuters and everyday riders, they created the Lombard. Think of it as a road bike with some serious toughness. But just because it's tough, doesn't mean it's heavy, it's made with a triple-butted aluminum frame for that snappy handling and effortless climbing that roadies, crossers and commuters can agree on. The wide Continental tires are puncture-resistant too, so potholed city streets, gravel paths and dirt roads are fair game on this steed. And, since this bike is named after the curviest road in the country (the steep, twisty Lomard St. in San Fran), this Lombard has 3 chainrings on the TruVativ cranks for 24 Shimano speeds and powerful Tektro disc brakes.
