About this bike
Surly's Cross Check is everybody's favorite jack-of-all-trades. Ride it, race it, commute, camp, or get stoked on 'cross; this bike has seen it all. Crafted of TIG-welded chromoly tubing with a lugged chromoly fork and all the braze-ons to run racks, fenders and bags, this offers comfort, vibration damping, and utility. Bar-end shifters and a wide-range, 20-speed Shimano drivetrain give the bike versatility and mechanical durability. The no-nonsense wheels, built from Alex rims laced to Shimano hubs, tackle the urban jungle or the 'cross course with ease. Powerful Tektro brakes and a pair of grippy, all-terrain Surly Knard tires round out the bike, keeping the rubber side down and letting you keep the fun under control.
