About this bike
Trek enlisted the multiple World Cup-winning Katie Compton to design the ultimate 'cross racing bike. The result is the Crockett 9, a bike with 'cross-specific features like plenty of mud clearance, racy geometry, a chain keeper, internal cable routing and an easily shouldered top tube. It starts off with a light Alpha aluminum frame with a carbon fork that is, of course stiff and precise, yet with a custom sweep that adds comfort and compliance to every ride. Add the flawless shifting of 11-speed Ultegra, a carbon bar and seatpost, a Ti-railed saddle, as well as tubeless-ready Bontrager Race wheels with fat tires and you're ready to get muddy.
