About this bike
Trek's Erwin is made from custom-butted steel for a refined ride like no other material can give. The frame isn't the only refined thing though. It has tough Bontrager wheels with 34c knobbies that hook up on any surface and Avid canti brakes with huge mud clearance. The 46/36 gearing is perfect for cross racing, with its tight turns and need for acceleration. But, even if you never put yourself through a 'cross race, you've got FSA cranks and 9-speed Shimano Tiagra shifting and Bontrager controls. Commute on it or just take it for cruises along dirt roads and gravel paths, you'll love it just the same.
