It's got an extended aluminum frame and rear rack/panniers with room for a ton of groceries, 700c wheels clad with wide, tough tires and a 24-speed drivetrain with low gearing for pedaling with the heaviest loads. The electric motor helps out, too. Using a precise digital processor, the power assist from the front wheel matches your exact pedaling power for a smooth, effortless ride. The range is excellent as well. In full power mode, you can go 18 miles and up to 60 in economy! And Kona uses a sophisticated battery management system with an incredibly accurate charge indicator so recharging is a no-brainer.
