About this bike

EXPERIENCE THE PERFECT COMBINATION OF SPEED, VERSATILITY, AND COMFORT WITH THE THRIVE ADVANCED – YOUR LIGHTWEIGHT AND SLEEK SOLUTION FOR TURNING COMMUTES AND FITNESS RIDES INTO AN ENJOYABLE PART OF YOUR DAILY ROUTINE. FEATURING A CARBON FRAME, PRESSURE-RELIEVING GRIPS AND SADDLE, AND TUBELESS TIRES, RIDE YOUR WAY TO BETTER HEALTH WITH EASE AND STYLE. KEY PERFORMANCE FACTORS Light and Agile The Thrive Advanced features a lightweight and nimble Advanced-Grade Composite frame and fork, balanced geometry, and flat handlebar for ultimate efficiency and control. Maximum Comfort Take on longer rides with ease and comfort with pressure-relieving grips and saddle, as well as a shock-absorbing D-Fuse seatpost that minimizes road vibrations and bumps – ensuring a smooth and controlled ride from start to finish. Functional Versatility The carbon flip chip - dropout allows you to easily adjust the geometry and tire clearance, giving you more versatility and customization options to suit your riding style and terrain. Switch to the short position for quicker handling and maximum tire clearance of 40c, or choose the long position for stability at speed and increased tire clearance up to 45c. TECH & FEATURES ADVANCED COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGY Liv's High-Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this frameset in our own composite factory. Using state-of-the-art materials and manufacturing techniques, Liv's Advanced-Grade Composite frames are designed to offer lightweight and stiffness with optimal compliance. D-FUSE SEATPOST The proprietary "D" shaped composite seatpost damps vibration, resulting in a smooth, compliant ride. OVERDRIVE Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, this fork steerer tube technology uses oversized headset bearings (1 1/4" lower and 1 1/8" upper for road, 1 1/2" lower and 1 1/8" upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness. TUBELESS SYSTEM Fewer flat tires. Greater traction. Less rolling resistance and a smoother, faster ride. Giant's Tubeless System makes it easier than ever to experience all these benefits. FLIP CHIP The flip chip allows riders to quickly adjust the geometry of their Maestro-equipped mountain bike to better suit how and where they ride. It lets riders change the headtube/seattube angles and bottom bracket height via eccentric (offset, two-position) hardware located on the upper rocker arm.
