The Ajax Open re-envisions what a high performance city bike can be. Cruisers and townies are fun but they limit your range due to their weight and clunkiness. The Ajax Open, by contrast, is a nimble eight-speeder that allows you to get out of the neighborhood and beyond the town limits with ease. Kit it out with fenders and a rack and the Ajax Open becomes a year-round do everything bike. Fitness rides? Check. City commutes? Roger. Shopping sprees? Oh yeah. How and where you ride is open to interpretation. Wired compared the Ajax and its stealthy matte black finish to an urban ninja. We agree. Hydraulic disc brakes provide stop-on-a dime braking, and the low-maintenance eight-speed shifting system and super-smooth belt drive slice through the city like a whisper. The Ajax Open delivers across the metrics that matter: performance, engineering (and with many of the same high-end features as our Acme Open), value.
