About this bike
Simply put, Surly's Big Dummy is designed for carrying cargo in style, and lots of it. And it even comes with Xtracycle's rack and bags so you can haul just about anything: groceries, laundry, camping gear, you name it. You'll enjoy sweet maneuverability and cargo capacity without the length or sway of a trailer or the strain of a backpack. Crafted from reliable and compliant chromoly, the ride is responsive for nice handling and vibration damping, too, for ample comfort. This trick rig also features quality Salsa wheels, a Truvativ/Shimano triple drivetrain for easy climbing even carrying that heavy load, and Avid mechanical-disc brakes to bring that load to a stop. The Big Dummy hauls up to 400 pounds (rider and cargo weight).
