Tern's Verge S11i offers riders transcendental urban transport in a fast, fun, all-weather package. The frame features lightweight aluminum construction and Tern's patented designs for speed, efficiency, and responsiveness under power. Like all Tern bikes, the Verge S11i uses their N-Fold technology to provide a super compact bike that can be folded or opened in less than ten seconds. The shifting is just as slick and effortless. Shimano's Alfine 11-speed rear hub is a sealed, weatherproof, and utterly reliable drivetrain that you can shift whether you're on the move or stopped at a light. Commuters and urban cyclists need burly wheels, and American Classic wheels with Schwalbe's Marathon Supremes come to the rescue with cartridge bearing hubs and super light aluminum rims, and 5mm-thick flat protection barrier and high-mileage rubber compound. Kinetix linear pull brakes offer loads of stopping power and smooth modulation, keeping you in control at all times. Since rider comfort is just as important as parts spec, Tern dressed this bike up with German-designed Ergon grips and a supportive Kore saddle. Toss in a pair of SKS fenders and a kickstand and you've got a commuter that transcends.
