About this bike
Tern's Verge S11i offers riders awesome urban transport in a fast, fun, all-weather package. The frame features lightweight aluminum construction and Tern's patented designs for speed, efficiency, and responsiveness. Like all Tern bikes, the Verge S11i uses their N-Fold Technology for a super compact bike that can be folded or opened in less than ten seconds. The shifting is just as slick and effortless. Shimano's Alfine 11-speed drivetrain is a sealed, weatherproof, and utterly reliable setup that you can shift whether you're on the move or stopped at a light. Commuters and urban cyclists need fine wheels, and Tern's Kinetix Pro wheels with Schwalbe's Marathon Supreme tires come to the rescue with cartridge-bearing hubs, nimble aluminum rims, 5mm-thick flat-protection barriers, and a high-mileage rubber compound. Plus, you get Kinetix linear-pull brakes for loads of stopping power and smooth modulation, keeping you in control at all times. And, since comfort is just as important as parts spec, Tern dressed this bike up with German-designed Ergon BioKork grips and a supportive Kore saddle. Toss in the SKS fenders, rack, dynamo-powered front and rear lights, and a kickstand and you've got a commuter ready for anything and everything!
