The ride is 1st-class, too, not only does the Belleville have the classic steel feel, but its upright position and casual geometry make it comfortable. The 3-speed internal gears and comfy saddle don't hurt, either. It's "utilitarian with flair," it boasts front/rear racks, fenders as well as lights that eliminate the need for batteries. And, years down the road if you ever decide it's not ridable, the frame and components are easy to disassemble and marked for easy recycling.
