About this bike
BMC's Teamelite 01 is built to win cross country races. Its stiff, featherweight carbon frame, oversize chainstays, low bottom bracket, and focused geometry allow for whip-like cornering and rocket-like acceleration. Breathe on the pedals and this bike shoots forward, but pedaling efficiency doesn't mean much if trail chatter dominates the ride, so BMC's Micro Travel Technology reduces vibrations and small bump impacts so you have more energy to drive the cranks. A Fox Float 32 with remote lockout and Kashima coating is efficient on smooth terrain and climbs, and blasts through the rough stuff. SRAM's XX1 drivetrain ensures blissfully crisp shifting, while keeping weight low. 29-inch DT Swiss wheels offer instant engagement, roll over everything, and are wrapped in tacky Conti tires so you can rail descents and tight singletrack, plus XTR discs modulate speed with ease. BMC rounds out the spec with their carbon post, short stem, wide carbon bars, and a comfortable Fizik saddle.
