Handmade in Canada, Devinci's Desperado SL2 is made for 1 thing: to go fast and crush the riders behind you. OK, that's 2 things, but you get what we mean. The frame is a purist's dream, it's made with triple-butted aluminum for responsiveness that sprinters love and the light weight that climbers demand. Continuing on that theme, the Mavic/Shimano wheels go a step further, adding strength and durability to the mix. They're wrapped with Maxxis race tires that give you the grip you need to get ahead without slowing you down. The 100mm-travel SID fork offers up stiff, precise steering and rail-like tracking through corners, and it has a remote lockout when it's time to drop the hammer. SRAM covers the drivetrain with an X-9 rear derailleur and X-7 shifters with TruVativ providing the stiff cranks. So whether you're racing for the podium, or just trying to beat your crew to the top, you'll dig the SL2.
