Overview

About this bike

Lung-busting climbs, grin-inducing descents and teeth-clenching technicality: just another day in the life of Devinci's Hectik 2. This all-mountain machine offers up 165mm of gnar-shredding travel. Aside from having efficient suspension, its handmade-in-Canada frame is respectably light since Devinci knows that there isn't always a lift around. The adjustable-travel Fox 36 is right there, too. Crank it down for the climb and open it up and let loose 160mm of awesomeness on the downhill, the tapered front end steers you down the trail like a sniper. Either way, the Mavic/DT Swiss wheels are ready; they're light, tough and responsive. SRAM provides the shifting with their crisp, precise X-7 group with an upgraded X-9 rear derailleur. The TruVativ cranks are double ringed with a bash guard, giving you the gears you need to ride with higher clearance over logs, rocks etc. Remember, speed is your friend, but just in case, you've got carbon Elixir discs to back you up.
