From the first moment you swing a leg over Felt's Edict Nine 3, you (and your competition) will almost feel like you're cheating. Its ultralight carbon frame, 100mm of travel, and big 29-inch wheels will make every course feel faster, easier, and shorter. Felt's spectacular UHC Performance Carbon frame begins at the stiff, tapered head tube and ends with their jolt-reducing, ultralight carbon FAST rear suspension. RockShox doles out the traction with a Recon Gold out front and a Monarch R in the rear so you can stomp over technical terrain with nary a second thought. And, WTB's race-worthy rims and tires carry your power via the SRAM X7/X9 transmission. You'll have to slow down eventually and the Avid Elixir discs are powerful enough to reign you in after even the hottest run. Your smile, though? That might just be on there for good.
