Aluminum hardtails have always been fast bikes, and Focus' Black Forest Expert has speed in spades. Cruising, trail riding or even racing, the quickness of Focus' efficient and nimble-handling aluminum frame will impress you. Plus, up front, the Fox F-100 fork boast 100mm of travel for top control, with a lockout for when it's throw-down time. This trick machine is built with nice components throughout, such as Shimano's precision-shifting XT derailleurs and their SLX crankset, shifters and hubs. Other great parts include the quality Schwalbe tires, the all-conditions Hayes hydraulic-disc brakes, and the supportive and comfortable Prologo seat.
