About this bike
Aluminum hardtails have always been fast bikes, and Focus' Black Forest Pro is raring to go. Focus' light, efficient and nimble aluminum frame has the snap to accelerate off the line and propel you through technical sections. Keeping the Pro on target is a Fox F-100 fork with 100mm of travel and lockout. This speedster is built with fast components, too, including Shimano's precision XT derailleurs and shifters and their SLX hubs and crankset. And, when it's time to check all that speed, you've got all the stopping power you need in the Hayes hydraulic-disc brakes. You'll also love the cornering grip of the Schwalbe Racing Ralph tires and the Concept Extreme bar, stem and seatpost.
