Focus' Project 2.0 lets you conquer rugged trails with 150mm of their plush Knuckle Box suspension. Its confident handling and sweet pedaling characteristics are courtesy of the aluminum frame with strategically-shaped tubes, including a tapered head tube. For suspension, Fox supplies their adjustable-travel 36 TALAS fork and RP23 shock with platform damping so you can optimize the suspension depending on the terrain. Also essential on all-mountain bikes these days are adjustable-height seatposts, and the Project's KS has a handlebar remote for on-the-fly control. Plus, to eliminate dropped chains, the HammerSchmidt front drive system is the equivalent of a double crankset in a simple, clean package. Other sweet trail-dominating components include the precision-shifting SRAM drivetrain, grippy Avid brakes, and burly DT Swiss wheels.
