While the frame is a gem, the wonder of this build are the featherweight, full carbon Ibis 941 Ultra Wide Carbon rims, which will have you leaving your competition, mouth agape, struggling in your wake. What's it all mean? This rig climbs like a race whip, slays the corners, and annihilates the downhills. The uber-efficient Shimano Deore XT 1 x 11-speed drivetrain has a wide-range of gears so you can spin up even the steepest stuff. What about the drop back down? Don't worry, you'll have a rock-solid Shimano Deore XT hydraulic disc brake set for speed modulation. When you consider its weight and travel, the Ripley is fully capable of hanging with the XC crowd on climbs and the enduro guys on the descents, and it even has two water bottle mounts.
