Overview

About this bike

That's it: Intense's Hard Eddie crosses the line! The finish line, that is, and well before anyone else. With a carbon monocoque frame as its spine, you know it's light, responsive, and stiff for anything the race course can throw at you. As expected, the XC-focused Hard Eddie leads the way with a RockShox SID RCT3 up front, giving you 100mm of plush travel to tackle fast, chunky lines. Big 29-inch Stan's wheels make rocks and roots mere afterthoughts on your way to the podium, while grippy Maxxis Ikon tires ensure you bite into corners and rip up the steeps. The powerhouse of this race course ripper is SRAM's X01 drivetrain with a wide range of gears for the climbs, the descents, and the bar-to-bar sprints. You'll be going so fast you might blow right by the podium, so slow it all down with Shimano XT hydraulic discs. On top of all that, the Hard Eddie has only the toughest stuff out there, like a Thomson Elite seatpost and stem, Thomson carbon handlebar, and a WTB Silverado Race saddle. Hard Eddie's a mean, lean, XC machine; unleash the beast at your next race.
