Fast, responsive, and light, Jamis’ Dakota D29 Elite is just begging to tear up your local XC race. This full carbon Dyad Elite-constructed hardtail features a tapered head tube and shape-optimized top and down tubes for whip-like handling and superb pedaling efficiency. The 100mm-travel Fox 32 Float CTD fork and stiff front and rear through-axles enable impressive control through technical, rough sections. Shimano’s XT large-diamter 29er wheelset rolls with assured swiftness and grippy Geax AKA knobbies. Shimano also supplies the crisp precision of their 2 x 10-speed XT drivetrain, as well as the excellent control and modulation of their XT disc brakes. Plus, Ritchey tops things off with a host of lightweight aluminum components.
