Overview
About this bike
Wherever and whenever you want to ride a bike, KHS's 5000 is as ready as you are. The heart of this wide, track-laying beast is the high-modulus MSD carbon frame that's light, gorgeous, and pairs beautifully with its carbon fork, letting you dive into corners as the nearly 5-inch wide Vee tires float over and grab snow, mud, and even hardpack. That ability comes in handy when the wide-range SRAM X7/X9 drivetrain gets you up to speed and keeps you there even when conditions get fluffy. Always reliable Hayes Prime Sport hydraulic disc brakes help keep you from disappearing into a snowdrift forever. When the snow starts flying and the wind is chilly, don some wool and bear-hug the fat.
