About this bike
Kona's Honza CR Race is what a cross-country hardtail should be: light, fast, and aggressive. The full carbon frame has short chain stays that deliver more power and a stiff front end for precise steering. A Fox 34 Float fork up front eats up 120mm of chunk and chatter while you nail your line and float to victory. WTB's 29-inch KOM rims and fast Maxxis Ikon EXO tires will have you passing competitors on the both the ups and the downs. A Shimano SLX/XT 11-speed drivetrain will help you crank out a lead, while the SLX brakes offer dialed control. Because World Cup courses are getting increasingly gnarly, Kona added internal dropper post routing to expand the bike’s capabilities even further, while maintaining its clean lines.
