Lapierre's XR 929 is ready to dominate any cross country trail or race course. The XR 929's backbone is the carbon frame that keeps weight to a minimum along with the stiffness to give you that jump-forward feel on the climbs. The real gem, though, is the RockShox Monarch RT3 rear shock with 100mm of travel that features E:i technology. This electronically controlled suspension reacts accordingly thanks to the on-board computer. Up front, a RockShox's incredibly supple RS1 fork with 100mm of travel charts the way. It all rolls on SRAM Roam 50 wheels that get going and stay going, even when the trail gets twisty and technical. And a SRAM XX1 drivetrain gives you the wide range of gears you need to conquer the climbs and sprint through straightaways. Top it all off with Avid X0 brakes to keep the gnar under control and Easton handlebars, stem, and seatpost to give you the reliability you need on all-day shreds, and you've got a big-wheeled machine more than ready to dominate.
