About this bike

ah:wi is the Cherokee term for deer. Though that could invoke images of smoked venison or graceful speed through a forest, the latter is certainly what Litespeed had in mind when they named this hardtail. Litespeed employed size-specific 3Al/2.5V titanium tubes and finished with their 6Al/4V variable tapered top tube. The top tube is created from a single sheet of 6Al/4V titanium to make a unique multi-faceted tapered tube that reduces weight and increases stiffness. The ah:wi is also multi-wheel compatible; while it’s optimized for 27.5-wheels, its concentric bottom bracket makes it possible to run 26-inch wheels as well. The 27.5-inch XTR wheels that come stock roll roll like a dream over obstacles, and the Hutchinson Python tubeless tires grip like nobody's business. Shimano's adored 1 x 11-speed XTR groupset offers effortless shifting and the gear range you need to make quick work of technical climbs and wild descents. Shimano's XTR Race hydraulic brakes set the bar in excellent braking power and modulation, and you'll feel the confidence they provide as you feather the levers with a single finger.
