Look's 979 is a cross-country speed machine that's designed from the ground up to be fast, comfortable, and efficient. Its ultra-stiff, high-modulus monobloc carbon frame keeps weight to an absolute minimum, making it easy to power up and over technical terrain. Rockshox supplies their XC-focused Reba RL fork to maximize your speed up and down the mountain. 29-inch American Classic aluminum wheels are fast, stable, and wrapped in Continental Race King tires to keep things hooked up as you tear through the turns. Meanwhile, a screaming fast Shimano XT drivetrain gets you up the hills with Shimano's trademark fluidity. And Magura MT2 Next hydraulic discs keep the fun under control.
