Overview

About this bike

What should an all-mountain bike be? It should be capable. Marin's Attack Trail 6.9 has a 160mm-travel Lyrik up front and a Monarch air shock out back with 150mm of travel. It should be tough. The Attack's gracefully hydroformed 6061 aluminum frame sports a tapered headtube and a rear Maxle for stiffness that you notice and appreciate right away. Above all, it should be versatile, able to climb as well as it descends. TruVativ's HammerSchmidt delivers plenty of gears and the Avid Elixir Carbon brakes are XC light, yet DH worthy. Same can be said for the light, tough Fulcrum wheels with Maxxis rubber and TruVativ controls. And with SRAM's X-9 gears, you can still ride all the XC trails, you'll just be having more fun. The Attack Trail 6.9: what an all-mountain bike should be.
