With it's super-burly aluminum frame, Maxle rear end and a 1.5-inch head tube, Marin's Quake 7.8 is a freeride workhorse ready for high-speed ripping, huge hits, and endless airtime. This rig is every bit as tough as you are. Up front, you get a big, 180mm-travel Totem fork and the rear is handled by a Vivid shock for that coil-damped plushness that gravity riders love. Powering all that suspension is TruVativ's stout Holzfeller cranks with a chainguide along with a slick-shifting SRAM drivetrain. And slowing this rig are Avid's Elixir discs with an 8-inch front rotor for serious stopping power. Plus, you'll dig Mavic's tough wheels wrapped in legendary Maxxis Minion DH rubber as well as the custom 710mm-wide Marin bar.
