Niner’s ONE 9 RDO is a flat-out fast, singlespeed-specific, cross-country racing bike. Niner melded the reduced diameters and trimmed profiles of the ONE 9 with the stiff, lightweight carbon chassis of the AIR 9. The rear brake mount is tucked inside the curved stays to distribute twisting forces evenly, permitting smaller caliper mounts and decreased wall thicknesses. Even the headset races in the head tube are made of molded carbon to shave grams wherever possible, resulting in a frame that is very lightweight, very fast, and ready for your next punishing race. The ONE 9 RDO employs Niner’s Biocentric II bottom bracket, which allows simple, secure single-speed set-up and gearing adjustments without brakes or wheel position adjustments; it also enables you to customize the bottom bracket position for a perfectly dialed geometry. This 2-Star SS gets a RockShox Reba RL fork that soaks up 120mm of trail crud so you can blast through the chatter while your competition loses fillings and position. The Niner Carbon XC wheels are exceptionally lightweight and rugged hoops wrapped in tubeless-ready Maxxis Ikon race rubber, which roll fast and bite hard through loose corners. A pair of no-nonsense SRAM DB5 brakes halt your progress with precise modulation. Even the cockpit is race-focused, with carbon bars and seat post to minimize weight and trail buzz. This ready-to-rip, stripped-down race rocket will go as fast and hard as you can.
