Niner’s RKT 9 RDO does one thing very well—fly. They pulled out all the stops to create the most efficient full suspension cross-country bike possible. The lightweight RDO-compacted carbon frame employs Niner’s patented Constantly Varying Arc (CVA) rear linkage, which allows pedaling forces and suspension travel to operate independent of one another, so you reap the rewards of every watt you put into the pedals while still enjoying the benefits of a fully suspended race rig. Niner’s suspension paired with a Fox Float DPS shock gives you 90mm of efficient travel. Extra standover clearance allows you to lay the bike over with greater balance and control, gaining the advantage on the competition by carrying more speed through corners. The Boost 148mm rear spacing creates a stronger, stiffer wheel build and greater stability in the rear triangle for better tracking through choppy courses. The 2-Star version of the RKT 9 RDO launches you into the race, while leaving you with some leftover cash to celebrate another PR. A RockShox Reba RL fork absorbs course chatter to keep your speed-addicted Maxxis Ikon tires dug in and carving their way to victory. The stiff, lightweight Niner alloy wheels accelerate quickly and hold your line. SRAM gets you rocketing up to speed and back down to earth again with a no-nonsense GX 1 x 11-speed drivetrain and powerful DB5 hydraulic disc brakes. And, you’ll pilot this rig to glory in comfort thanks to Niner’s ergonomic touchpoints, regardless of whether your race is one hour or twenty-four.
