Niner’s RKT 9 RDO does one thing very well—fly. They pulled out all the stops to create the most efficient full suspension cross-country bike possible. The lightweight RDO-compacted carbon frame employs Niner’s patented Constantly Varying Arc (CVA) rear linkage, which allows pedaling forces and suspension travel to operate independent of one another, so you reap the rewards of every watt you put into the pedals while still enjoying the benefits of a fully suspended race rig. Niner’s suspension paired with a Fox Float DPS shock gives you 90mm of efficient travel. Extra standover clearance allows you to lay the bike over with greater balance and control, gaining the advantage on the competition by carrying more speed through corners. The Boost 148mm rear spacing creates a stronger, stiffer wheel build and greater stability in the rear triangle for better tracking through choppy courses. Niner’s RKT 9 RDO 3-Star will get you to the front of the pack and help you stay there. The Kashima-coated Fox Float fork absorbs course chatter to keep your speed-addicted Maxxis Ikon tires dug in and carving their way to victory. The stiff, lightweight Stan’s Arch EX wheels accelerate quickly and hold your line. Shimano XT gets you rocketing up to speed and back down to earth again with a wide-ranging 2 x 11-speed drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes. A carbon Niner bar and seat post, as well as custom grips, saddle, and stem keep your contact points lightweight and comfortable, whether you’re out for an hour or twenty four.
