Plow through, float over, rip, scream, CHAAAARRRRRRGE—the world is a never-ending stream of action on Norco's Torrent 7.1. Plus-sized tires are the main attraction on this uber-capable trail machine. With 2.8-inch wide rubber mated to super stable 40mm-wide rims, thoughts of riding up trees or over cave ceilings seem oddly realistic. Impossibilities aside, the Torrent's aluminum hardtail frame has all the right features to put aggressive riding at the ready, with a 66.5-degree head angle guiding a 140mm DVO Diamond fork, short rear stays, and a low bottom bracket. Crisp and quick shifting comes on strong thanks to an 11-speed drivetrain from SRAM and Race Face, giving you a wide gear range full of mountain-climbing power. SRAM Level T brakes keep the reins tight on steep descents for superb control, and the TranzX 150mm dropper post ensures your saddle is always in the best position for rocking your way down the trail.
