This bike is a demon on any cross-country racecourse, proven in both the Olympics and on the World Cup circuit. With a bit more suspension travel than a traditional XC bike, mid-size 27.5-inch wheels, and a shorter wheelbase, the Mach 4 Carbon possesses a playfulness that makes it a blisteringly fast trail bike. The Mach 4 is constructed of a full carbon frame featuring leading-edge carbon fiber materials and Pivot’s proprietary hollow-core, internal molding technology. The frame accommodates tires up to 2.6-inch and features hassle-free, full-length internal cable routing that’s Di2 compatible and a fully redesigned rear triangle with increased stiffness. The confident handling is complemented by the 148mm BOOST rear hub spacing to provide instant response while maintaining rolling speed through even the roughest sections of a racecourse. The frame design features short chainstays, a spacious cockpit, and an incredibly stiff carbon chassis that enables you to thread the needle on particularly tight trails and tackle uphill technical challenges you’ve never dreamed of cleaning. However, it's when you're descending that the Mach 4 Carbon reveals its trail-bike chops. With ultra-stable geometry, a low BB height, and 115mm of dw-link suspension, you can unleash on technical features and square-edge hits with confidence and speed. As race courses evolve to be more and more technically challenging, Pivot’s next generation race/trail geometry is the answer to hitting everything just a little bit faster on every lap. And, the Mach 4 is available in either trail-oriented or XC racing-focused complete bike builds, each assembled to perfection to give you the best experience out on the trail.
