About this bike
Pivot’s roster of world class downhill and enduro athletes had tons of input in designing the 155mm-travel Mach 6 Aluminum. The 27.5-inch wheels, slack head angle, short chainstays and low BB height all add up to an incredibly versatile and capable bike. Its aluminum frame was created with next-generation, variable wall thickness hydro-forming technology, giving it carbon-level strength, stiffness, precision, and control. The Mach 6 Aluminum PRO X01 Eagle rockets up to speed via SRAM's 12-speed X01 drivetrain offering a huge gear range with lightweight, simple design. Fox suspension components control the dw-link's inherently efficient movement, with a Float Factory DPS EVOL shock and 36 Factory 160mm fork to keep traction high when the trail turns choppy. Shimano's all-powerful XT hydraulic disc brakes wrangle wild rides with ease, while DT Swiss wheels and Maxxis tires keep you on track, culminating in a bike that raises every rider’s ability to conquer aggressive, technical trails.
