About this bike
Pivot’s roster of world class downhill and enduro athletes had tons of input into the 155mm-travel Mach 6 Aluminum. The 27.5-inch wheels, slack head angle, short chainstays and low BB height all add up to an incredibly versatile and capable bike that proves aluminum isn't dead. Pivot worked for three years to develop a variable wall thickness hydroforming technology that allows them to create highly complex tube shapes that were previously only achievable in carbon. The Mach 6 Aluminum Pro XT/XTR 1x focuses around Shimano's XT/XTR 1x11 drivetrain for smooth shifting simplicity. Fox suspension components aid the dw link's efficient movement, with a 36 Factory Kashima fork and Float X Kashima shock to keep traction high. Shimano's lauded XT hydraulic disc brakes wrangle wild rides with ease, while DT Swiss Spline Two M1700 wheels provide pinpoint tracking, culminating in a bike that raises every rider’s ability to conquer aggressive, technical trails.
