The Altitude from Rocky Mountain is here to push the trail bike envelope. The ultra-stiff frame pushes 150mm of rear travel out of a Fox DPS shock and features RM’s RIDE-9 interlocking chip design, allowing you to easily dial-in suspension characteristics to tackle any terrain — from technical BC loam to clapped out enduro tracks, flowy New Zealand jumps, and Moab slickrock. Aim the Fox 36 fork at the gnarliest descents and wheel-sucking ruts you can find. At 160mm, it’s built for brutality while delivering Fox’s sophisticated damping to keep you on rails through the risky line. Rocky Mountain spec’d the Altitude to expand what is possible on any trail, no matter what price point fits your budget. The Carbon 70 benefits from the industry-leading stiffness-to-weight delivered by its highly refined Smoothwall carbon frame. Crisp power transmission is delivered by the SRAM X01/GX drivetrain and precisely tempered by Shimano XT brakes. Maxxis tires and Stan’s Flow MK3 rims provide a remarkable blend of trail sensitivity, tubeless light weight, and gravity-savvy traction so you can find the ribbon of terra firma that thrills you, hit the dropper remote, and tear straight into the dream.
