On this Fargo Rival 27.5+, you get mid-fat 27.5 x 3.0-inch tires on 50mm-wide Whisky No.5 rims, and the ability to accept either 29-inch or 29+ as you desire. The SRAM 11-speed drivetrain has plenty of grunt for loaded backcountry trips, while SRAM's Apex mechanical disc brakes provide excellent control, especially when you're in the flared drops of the Salsa Woodchipper 2 handlebar. A strong, buzz-free chromoly frame takes all types of surfaces in stride, and the Firestarter full-carbon fork aids in keeping road vibration low and steering precision high. Upholding the Fargo's touring cred is an abundance of mounting points so you can pack as you please. Three-Pack mounts grace each fork leg, attachment points can be found for front and rear racks and fenders, and three sets of cage mounts are available on the front triangle.
