Aluminum gives this hardtail the stiffness needed to whip through tight turns and accelerate with instant power, and super short chainstays make it easy to lift over obstacles so you can stay with the flow. The Timberjack 29 NX1 rolls on Schwalbe Rapid Rob 2.25-inch tires to keep you moving fast with extra rollover clearance, and it has tons of options for building it your way. You can run the stock 29-inch wheelset or change it up to 27.5 Plus; make it fully rigid for maximum pedaling efficiency; shorten or lengthen the wheelbase; or run just about any wheelset you have lying around thanks to Alternator Dropouts that accept anything from 135mm QR to 148mm Boost axles. The stock SRAM 1x11-speed drivetrain offers plenty of gearing to climb your way to the top, and sturdy hydraulic disc brakes keep things under control on the way back down. To keep you charging when the trail gets gnarly, you can count on the 120mm Manitou M30 fork to pave the way with predictable handling.
