With its heavily gusseted top and down tubes and long wheelbase, Santa Cruz's Blur 4X excels at stomping big hits, owning white-knuckle lines and delivering a stable, solid feel. And, the low bottom bracket height lets you absolutely shred the berms, too. The 115mm-travel Virtual Pivot Point suspension sucks up bumps and boasts top-end efficiency for fantastic snap out of the gates. In addition, RockShox's Recon fork is adjustable from 80mm to 100mm of travel, Fox's Float R shock is highly tunable, the Juicy 3 discs deliver Avid's renowned stopping power and Shimano's drivetrain has the gears you need, too.
