Wide 27.5 x 2.8-inch tires are the secret to your success, providing extra traction and float thanks to the larger contact patch. Paired with 110mm of VPP suspension in the rear and 130mm up front, you'll find the Tallboy's stance to be perfectly suited for picking your way up gnarly climbs as well as maintaining speed over soft and loose surfaces. The Tallboy 27+ Carbon C XE is built around Santa Cruz' updated carbon frame and includes a Flip-Chip that changes the bike's geometry to accommodate 29-inch wheels, giving you supreme versatility in just one bike. Fox Float Performance suspension components keep the tires glued to the ground while power is efficiently transferred through a wide-range Shimano XT/e*thirteen transmission. Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes, a Reverb Stealth dropper post, and a Race Face carbon bar all come together to create the ultimate experience in bike handling and control.
