Overview
About this bike
The Scott Contessa Scale 700 RC is one of the lightest hardtail frames around and is built to give you ever advantage on the trail. The sub-1,000-gram HMF carbon frame features a tapered head tube that holds your line with pin-point precision and Scott’s Shock Damping System seatstays that reduce rider fatigue and enhance control. Fox provides their plush, lightweight 100mm-travel Float Performance Elite fork with remote adjustment so you can clean whatever the trail throws at you. The 27.5-inch Syncros wheels are nimble and fast over rough terrain and through tight switchbacks, while the Rocket Ron tires roll quick. Plus, Shimano’s 2 x 10-speed XT group gives you perfect gearing in an instant, the XT brakes deliver outstanding stopping power, and Syncros bar, stem, post, and seat keep the weight to a minimum while keeping you comfortable for the long haul.
